iVmedia case studies - Philharmonia Orchestra
The Brief
To celebrate the Film Distributors Association (FDA) 100th Anniversary, they teamed with the Philharmonia Orchestra for a concert of Great British Cinema, an event hosted by Edith Bowman. The FDA chose us to drive an awareness campaign for the event and drive ticket sales.
Our Solution.
We devised a series of punchy social ad cards using classic icons of the cinema. Ads were deployed across Facebook and Twitter.
A variety of targeting options were used covering interests such as classical music, films, theatre, arts and music, entertainment, current events, political and social issues, reading and live events.
Targeting Adults aged 24-65 in the UK
The ads appeared in peoples mobile newsfeeds and righthand column as well as third party apps and newsfeed. These included direct links for booking tickets.
Hard on the date of the concert, we changed the overall geographic targeting to ‘London only’ to reflect the short term travel options and last minute bookings which created a big spike in ticket sales.
